CF Burkheimer Spey Rods

Owning a Burkheimer is a little bit like being in a cult. While these rods aren’t for everyone, for many, they’re the only one. Each rod is hand built from start to finish in Burkheimer’s small shop in Washougal, Washington. Before you even cast one of beautiful pieces of art, it’s obvious the craftsman that build them pay special attention to detail. Beyond their aesthetics, these rods are precision casting instruments. This comes as no surprise when you meet Kerry Burkheimer. Obsessed would be a good word to describe him. While Kerry has a true understanding of casting physics, graphite properties, and all the other things rod designers have to know, Kerry also understands that a fly rod should posses a certain feel in hand. Maybe it’s JuJu, Mojo, whatever... When you pick up a “Burky”, the feel is unmistakable.
